Dogman Symposium 2016

The first annual Dogman Conference was held this past weekend in Defiance, Ohio and was a great success.

It was a big crowd for a first time event which kicked off with a VIP meet and greet on Friday night, followed by a full day of speakers on Saturday.

John Tenney got things going and, true to his form, kept it weird.  I was up next with a lecture on Skinwalkers, followed by the amazing Linda Godfrey discussing her dogman research.

After a lunch break, Ken Gerhard spoke on the beast of Gevaudan, Nick Redfern discussed English werewolves and Stan Gordon spoke on encounters in Pennsylvania.

The whole thing was expertly MC'd by the incredible Lyle Blackburn, and the day ended with a panel discussion that included all speakers.
We had some spectacular vendors in attendance too, and everyone seemed to have a really good time.

Defiance was chosen as the location for this year's event due to its prime location and for its series of Werewolf sightings from 1972.  What better place to kick off a hopefully annual event?

This was one of those events that you just had to attend to truly appreciate.  Lots of inquiring minds, an amazing amount of information, and great company!  Events like this can be risky, congrats to Ken Gerhard for pulling it off and giving everyone who was there a truly memorable experience.  Happy I was a part of it!
