This was just before both my Nana and my best friend died within a few weeks of each other, just before Christmas. I was 16 and woke up to find a guy standing in my bedroom doorway, wearing a cape or long coat and a hat. I thought it was my Dad, so I kept calling out loud, "Dad? Dad?" When he didn't answer, I realized that my Dad wouldn't be standing fully-clothed in my bedroom doorway, in the middle of the night, not even answering me. So I sunk down into my covers and watched him over the top of my blankets, as he watched me, until he finally turned and walked towards my sister's room. It took a long time to get back to sleep that night. I never saw him again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
